At First Baptist Church of Bunnell our desire is that your
entire family comes closer to the Lord and is able to do so as a family.
There are many ways to grow in your walk with the Lord at our fellowship
and below is a list of just some of the ways that you can become involved.
If you have any questions feel free to contact us and we will respond
quickly.
At First Baptist of Bunnell we have ministries that reach out to every age
group adults. We have Golden Agers for those who are 50 and above, we have
a variety of Sunday Morning Bible Studies for each group. The following is
a list of the various S.M.B.S. classes that are offered on Sunday
mornings.
For the youth we have Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45 on Sunday
morning. Right now we are intensively looking at all the books of the Bible
and we are going to be studying some of the major doctrines of the church
after our New and Old Testament survey. On Sunday night we meet from 6:00
for Sunday night. This is a time for various activities. We do anywhere from
sports and volleyball in the park to witnessing training or dealing with
special topics. On Wednesday nights we have Bible study. We gather in the
youth room and hang out at 6:00 to 6:15. From 6:15-7:00 we look into the
Word of God and discover what he wants us to be like and how we can be
better citizens of The City of God. We also have special events once a
month. Sometimes we gather for pizza, movies, or an occasional outing. You
never know what is going to happen at the church and where you might be
going. But you can be sure that whatever we do we are going to have fun and
be safe.
Children's Ministry
Right now we have an exciting program
for your children. The children gather during each of the service times
and learn how to be more like Christ through activities and Bible studies
that are relevant and encouraging to the children. We also have Children's
Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45. On Wednesday night we have more
activities for your little ones. We do provide a special room in the
worship center for you and your children. We know that some parents want
their children to be with them in worship so that they can hear the Word
of God proclaimed from the pulpit and we have set aside this special space
so that you can be ministered to and your children can be as loud as they
need to be. The children's ministry also has special events for your
children. Links to

Hearts & Crafts Ministry
In
1998, Janet Bristow and Victoria Galo, two graduates of the 1997 Women's
Leadership Institute at The Hartford Seminary in Hartford, Connecticut
gave birth to a ministry as a result of their experience in this program
of applied Feminist Spirituality under the direction of Professor Miriam
Therese Winter, MMS. Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting have
been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which
reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in
celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. The
Hearts & Crafts group have been inspired by this Prayer Shawl ministry
and has presented many Prayer Shawls and lap robes for comfort, healing
and compassion.
Hearts & Crafts Meets every Thursday
from 10am to 12:00 noon.
